Lake Wallace Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is comprised of 52 acres located in Marlboro County, South Carolina. The WMA is only a portion of the 18 tracts totaling nearly 800 acres on and around Lake Paul Wallace. These properties were purchased with federal funds and were acquired by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources from various sources including private landowners, Marlboro County, City of Bennettsville, and the Marlboro County School District.
Lake Wallace WMA is managed exclusively as a public dove field and is part of the SCDNR Public Dove Field program. A variety of agricultural row crops are planted yearly in the spring and are manipulated a number of times throughout the season to provide an excellent food source to attract doves.
Dove hunting seasons, rules, and regulations may be obtained through the contact information listed below.
